Flambeaux Bicycle Tours offer many New Orleans Bicycle Tours! On the New Orleans Bicycle Tour you will trace the colonial history of New Orleans and its cultural treasures. Pedal through the flat, storied streets of the French Quarter, Treme, and other historic New Orleans areas while learning facts about New Orleans history from one of our expert guides. Exploring the city by bike lets you cover more ground than a walking tour but with the flexibility to stop often to learn about the history and culture of the city.
Pedal along the banks of the Mississippi River and through the oldest parts of New Orleans—the French Quarter, Marigny, the Bywater, St. Roch, and Treme. Cruise down leafy Esplanade Avenue, into the legendary St. Louis Cemetery No. 2, and through Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square. Stop along the way to hear about New Orleans heritage, especially the development of jazz and the colorful innovators who created it.

- In order for the tour to operate a minimum of 2 people must book. Once two riders have booked our software will allow single riders to reserve.
- To go on the tour one must be over 13 years of age and taller then 4’11”.
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Tours are limited to 10 people. (If you have a larger group contact us and we will arrange a tour for you).
- The tour is $50 per person and includes a bicycle, helmet, and bottled water.
- The tour is a total of 7.5 miles traveled at a very leisurely pace.
- 48 hour notice of cancellation is required.
- Please arrive for the tour no later, nor sooner than 15 minutes before departure time.
- Tours roll rain or shine.
- Wearing flip flops/slippers while riding a bicycle is hazardous and not allowed on our tours.
- We take a break at a coffee house. Please note that many New Orleans establishments are cash only…some are card only.
- In the event of sever weather before the tour, participants can either reschedule or be refunded. We do not offer refunds once the tour embarks.
- If you are driving, street parking in the French Quarter is 2 hours max. You can download the app as instructed on the parking meter and pay again when the 2 hours is over. The best rates on parking in the French Quarter is the Basin Lot. The rate ranges from $5-$10 for 10 hours when there’s no festivals going on. Please a lot extra time to park, our tours depart at the time indicated on your booking.

What Tours do you offer?
Bywater Mural Tour: We cruise through the Bywater and see and hear about local murals and stop by some local bars.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule or refund for any reason, you must do so 7 days before your tour.
A weather cancellation can only be determined by the company. Weather related cancellations will be determined on the day of the scheduled tour only. If it is raining the tour will still go on as scheduled as the bikes are covered, but we recommend you have rain gear.
If the weather is severe the company will contact you within two hours of your tour and provide you with an opportunity to reschedule or if you are not able to, we will offer you a refund.
If you decide to end the trip early, walk off during one of the stops, or are kicked off by guide or management during the trip due to your behavior/inability to follow directions, you WILL NOT receive a refund.
